Read the Canadian Cancer Trials Group story on the opening of the IND245 and IND246 studies, the first CCTG-led cell therapy trials to open in Canada. These early-phase trials evaluate innovative cell therapy approaches to improve outcomes before and after CAR-T treatment for relapsed mantle cell lymphoma (IND245) and a novel Canadian-developed CAR T-cell therapy in relapsed solid tumors (IND246). The studies are led by researchers including Dr. Diego Villa, IND245 co-chair and medical oncologist at BC Cancer – Vancouver, as well as Dr. Mona Shafey, IND246 study chair and hematologist at the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
