Congratulations to Lorenzo Lindo of Hay Lab (Terry Fox Laboratory) for receiving a Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) Research Training Award, with joint funding from the Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI).
The award is tied to the project titled, "Engineering CAR-T Cells to Overcome Immune Suppression and Enhance Efficacy in Multiple Myeloma.”
CCS Research Training Awards support growth and innovation in the next generation of diverse cancer researchers across Canada at the Master’s, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral levels. The Research Training Awards seek to build inclusive capacity in cancer research, and will support individuals conducting cancer related research, while fostering long-term connections with Canada’s cancer research ecosystem through a combination of exposures to other disciplines, knowledge translation, engagement, and mentorship opportunities.
Please join us in congratulating Lorenzo on this achievement!
