We are pleased to share that Katherine Baillie (Stirling Lab) and Dr. Athena Phoa (Jiang Lab) have received recognition at the BCCRI Rising Stars Awards.
Katherine Baillie's work on "Investigating dominant negative mutations in DNA2 as a model for targeted cancer therapy" earned her the Outstanding In-Person Poster Presentation Award.
Dr. Athena Phoa's presentation, "Restoration of miR-185 in combination with BCR-ABL downregulation by therapeutic delivery of siRNA with lipid nanoparticle carriers to sensitize drug-resistant cells to therapy," secured her the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award.
