The Office of the VP, Research held a Publication Awards competition for papers of outstanding scientific merit first-authored by BC Cancer students, residents, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students for work performed at, or in collaboration with, BC Cancer during 2018.

Thanks in part to genetic sequencing and BC Cancer researchers; one BC man has a new lease on life.

Dr. Lum received a $1.08 million dollar grant from the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) to study the connection between nutrition, immune cells and cancer.
