KARLENE CARVALHO joined the team as a Research Assistant for the Tumour Tissue Repository after graduating from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Biology in 2017. She obtained experience in various aspects of the biobanking process, including consenting patients, accrual and processing of biospecimens, laboratory maintenance, and daily TTR operations as a Research Assistant. Karlene continues to be involved with the TTR on a casual basis.
