Nicole is a Registered Nurse (RN), with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree. She is certified from the Canadian Nurses Association, with specialty practice in Hospice- Palliative Care since 2004. Nicole has worked in in various roles, including educator, Patient Care Coordinator, Home Care Nurse and within acute medical units. Currently she is the Clinical Nurse Specialist at BC Cancer, Surrey. She is also an Adjunct Professor, School of Nursing at University of British Columbia.
Nicole has been involved in research on three different projects, and loves to bridge academic aspirations with the practice realities.
In her spare time, Nicole connects with her mental, physical, emotional, spiritual well being by digging in the garden, taking photos, and chasing her two sons, dog and husband around the green spaces of Coast Salish territory.
