Research Nurse

BC Cancer - Provincial

This position is in the BC Cancer Nursing and Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation department. https://www.bccrc.ca/dept/nahr/ 

The Research Nurse has principal responsibility for the coordination of the study interventions, nursing care, monitoring, clinical assessment, and education of patients participating in the assigned clinical trials.  The Research Nurse has formal responsibility for advising or teaching nursing staff in clinic and treatment areas on specialized theory and practice related to study activities. The Research Nurse is responsible for translating new knowledge into nursing practices and standards of care to improve and advance care across BC Cancer.
